It would seem the motorcycling world isn’t immune from the Tiger Woods sex scandal, as FastDates.com (makers of fine motorcycle themed pin-up calendars) has just announced that one of its models has been linked to having intimate relations with the golfing legend. Jamie Jungers (second from left), has been identified by the NY Post as being the 4th blonde woman linked to Woods. More after the jump.
A few weeks ago we announced that the Honda VFR1200F would cost nearly €15,000 in the European market, and speculated that the price here in the US would be $15,000 +/- about a grand. Well it looks like we were right, as American Honda Motors has announced that the base model 2010 Honda VFR1200F will come with an MSRP of $15,999.
Make it a double recall Monday, because Kawasaki is recalling 259 Ninja 250R (EX250) motorcycles from the 2009 and 2010 model years. Apparently, porosity in the engine case could allow motor oil to leak from the engine, and be deposited on the rear tire.
If you’re one of the few people who managed to get their hands on 2010 model year Buell XB12X or XB12XT, you may also be 1 of the 23 owners affected by Buell’s recall for the bikes’ incorrectly manufactured right-hand side footpeg.
UPDATE: Moto Morini has responded to other reports that the Italian company has shut its doors, and instead says its production line is at a greatly diminished capacity.
After going into receivership a few months ago, Moto Morini has found its financial stability withering away as time marches-on. With no end in sight for the company’s blight, Moto Morini has shutdown its production line, and will remain in that state until a new buyer or group of investors emerge and breath life back into the small Italian brand.

Harley-Davidson announced this week that it was able to come to an agreement with its York, Pennsylvania plant employees and union members, thus allowing the plant to remain open and producing motorcycles. The move wasn’t easy though as half of the plant’s employees will lose their jobs in order to keep the Shield & Bar in the Springettsbury Township area.

DMG has finally reached a deal with Laguna Seca that will see the coastal California track host the 2010 AMA Pro Racing series during the same weekend MotoGP will be using the facility. This news comes as a relief, as the provisional AMA Pro Racing calendar left the historic track, as well as Miller Motorsports Park and Topeka off its 2010 schedule.
Here’s one to help you pass the final minutes before the weekend: a stop-action video of a GSX-R seemingly building itself up from a bucket of parts. Created by what appears to be a father/son duo in their garage, the video is really well done. Things get insane at the 3:30 mark, and is a testament to the 30+ hours it took to film the video.
