On December 17th, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) raided with armed tactical agents the offices of Ducati North America in Mountain View, California.

Though only a handful of employees were in the Mountain View office because of COVID restrictions during the time of the raid, it is being reported that roughly 30 agents stormed the building with a search warrant in hand.

An account of this happening was posted by a Ducati North America employee to the Bay Area Riders Forum, with RoadRacing World subsequently publishing the news.

Owners of a Ducati Scrambler 1100 model, model years 2018 thru 2021, should take note of this latest recall from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

At issue is the potential for the exhaust cable on the Scrambler 1100 series to touch the main positive battery wire. If this were to occur, it could cause the motorcycle to short-circuit and cease operation.

Ducati cannot seem to escape the constant rumors that Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess is looking to sell the Italian motorcycle brand, as once again rumors about the divesture of Ducati Motor Holding have been circling the internet.

But these rumors, as they have in the past, have been for naught. With the Volkswagen board once again confirming Diess’s role in the company, the position of Ducati in the German house remains secure.

Episode 175 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one starts our review of the 2020 MotoGP Championship season, as we take a look at the fates of the various manufacturers.

On the mics, we have Neil Morrison and our newest member to the show, Adam Wheeler (from the magazine On-Track Off-Road).

Taking the manufacturers two at a time, this episode focuses on the results of the Suzuki and Ducati squads during the year. The two brands showed strong results, though perhaps in the most different of ways.

The Ducati Panigale V4 doesn’t get much in terms of changes for the 2021 model year, which is to be expected since the superbike family from Bologna saw changes made to its superbike package last year.

The Italians do have a surprise for us though, and it is called the Ducati Panigale V4 SP.

To create the “SP” spec of the Panigale V4, you start with the 1,103cc “S” model, and then properly get funky with your bad self.

Ducati is doing a five-part web debut for its 2021 models, and today we saw the second installment, which focused on the XDiavel and Scrambler range.

If you were expecting big changes and new bikes, you probably left the video feeling disappointed, as there were none.

However, if you are a fan of these two unique genres in Ducati’s motorcycle offering, then there might be some hidden surprises for you.

Episode 41 of the Brap Talk motorcycle podcast is back with another weekly episode, for your two-wheeled listening pleasure. In this show, we sit down and talk about a few bikes in particular.

We start out with the BMW R18, which has been sitting in the garage at A&R HQ these past few weeks. Accordingly, we give some initial thoughts on riding this unique cruiser, and what it means for the German brand.

The big news yesterday in the motorcycle industry was the debut of the 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4, but one key piece of information was missing when we got to see it: the price.

Well, we have that answer today, as Ducati North America has provided to us the MSRP for the various trims levels of the Multistrada V4 – for both Canada and the United States.

And normally, this would be a straight-forward story to report, but as we understand Ducati’s moves for the Multistrada V4 in 2021, the pricing is anything but just a couple of numbers.
