Brap Talk Podcast #52 – Snow Crash

Episode 52 of the Brap Talk motorcycle podcast is back with another weekly episode, for your two-wheeled listening pleasure.

In this one, it is a mega-dump of new motorcycle models as four manufacturers all picked the same week to release a new model for the 2021 model year.

First up, we talk once again about the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, which is now officially official and looking properly potent.

Next on the list is the Kawasaki KLR650, which gets a bit of a rebirth after rumors of its premature death have proven unfounded. Coming to the US with fuel-injection, this iconic bike got a much-needed refresher for 2021.

After that we spend some time talking the new KTM 1290 Adventure S, which will not come to the US as a 2021 model, even though it improves upon this already top-rated bike.

Our last new bike is the revised Indian FTR1200 lineup, which gets 17″ wheels and a bevy of critical updates.

We finish the show with a listener question about how to avoid target fixation on the race track, which makes for a great discussion.

We also talk a bit about the Honda Africa Twin 1100 Sport ES DCT (say that three times fast), and what is going on in the “middleweight” ADV category.

As you can tell, it’s a packed show, and we think you will find it to be an interesting. As always, keep checking back for our “weekly” chats.
