Episode 287 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one sees us looking at the unveiling of the Ducati MotoE race bike for the 2023 season.

On the mics, we have David Emmett and Jensen Beeler as they look what is taking place in electric motorcycle racing with the FIM MotoE World Cup.

With David fresh back from Bologna, where he attended the launch of the electric bike Ducati has designed for the MotoE championship from 2023 onward, the guys talk about what David learned at the launch, and what makes Ducati’s bike unique.

We start things off with a look at the outgoing MotoE project, and the benchmark left behind with the Energica Ego Corsa. Looking at not only the racing the bike produced, Jensen also adds his insights into riding the bike at Valencia and what the state-of-play is within in the industry.

From there, we look at what Ducati has on offer, and David breaks down some of the machine’s more interesting features and design choices.

This episode was more than just a discussion of MotoE, and Ducati’s new bike. Jensen and David try to put the whole project into a wider perspective, of what it means for motorcycle racing and what it means for road machines. We think you will enjoy it.
