BMW Motorrad Q3 2021 Sales on Track for All-Time Record

Before the pandemic, BMW Motorrad saw year after year of record sales worldwide, which was of course scuttled by 2020’s results.

The German brand seems back on form though, with its Q3 2021 sales figures showing that BMW Motorrad is set for another all-time record year.

The best third-quarter that BMW Motorrad has ever had, coupled to a strong start already to the year, the Germans are reporting 156,609 motorcycles and scooters delivered to customers.

This is a 20.8% increase from 2020’s figures, though that’s not saying much, considering the effects 2020 had on BMW sales.

BMW says that the cornerstone to this success is company’s fresh product lineup, as well as its wide product range, including ten new models since the start of the year. A booming motorcycle market helps as well.

With the Bavarians just reporting preliminary numbers right now, we don’t have details on markets, segments, and models, but we expect to see BMW Motorrad unveiling more new bikes at this year’s EICMA show, which is only a month away at this point – this bodes well for continued success in 2022.

Stay tuned for more info on those machines, and a deeper dive into BMW sales stats, as that info becomes available.
