Where the Panigale V4 goes, the Streetfighter V4 follows – or so the thinking would be, if all things were rational in Borgo Panigale.

At the very least, it would explain today’s rumor about the Italian brand, as Motorcycle.com is reporting that Ducati is preparing to release a Streetfighter V4 SP model.

That news comes from EPA documents that the publications has scoped, which indicated the name of the bike, and that no changes are made to its 205hp (152 kW) V4 engine.

Links between Jonathan Rea and the MotoGP paddock happen every year, and it probably has something to do with the Northern Irishman’s complete dominance in the World Superbike Championship.

For 2021, the situation is no different – though Rea’s absolute reign in WorldSBK is certainly under question from the results posted by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, now that the Turk is on the PATA Yamaha YZF-R1.

Still, Rea is perhaps the most deserving rider of a GP ride in motorcycle racing right now, and there are hints that the six-time World Champion could be headed to MotoGP.

As expected, today we see the debut of a limited edition Troy Bayliss model from Ducati Motor Holding, but unexpectedly the bike in question is the based off the Ducati Panigale V2.

Officially called the Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Champion 20th Anniversary, the motorcycle features a fetching livery, adorned with the racing number of three-time World Champion, Troy Bayliss.

There is more here though than just some paint and a $4,500 markup (MSRP is set at $21,000, whereas a base model will cost you $16,500).

We were expecting Triumph to debut a line of dirt bikes today, after teasing on social media the involvement of Motocross legend Ricky Carmichael and five-time Enduro World Champion Iván Cervantes.

But instead, we realize now that we got a tease of a teaser, with the British brand simply announcing that work is underway to bring motocross and enduro dirt bikes to Triumph’s lineup. That’s a bit of a disappointment…

Have we just seen the unveiling of the ultimate track bike? The KTM RC 8C certainly fits the part on paper with its 128hp on tap, 140 kg dry weight (308 lbs), and high-spec components.

Though the exterior is all-new, we have seen much of the KTM RC 8C before, as the bike is really just a rebadge and massaged Kramer GP2 890R track bike, though the Ready to Race folks make no mention of the involvement of their German counterparts.

Triumph is teasing a big announcement for tomorrow, and if the signals from the British brand are to be believed, then the company is poised to enter the dirt segment.

Our clues for this are social media posts showing American motocross champion Ricky Carmichael and Spanish enduro champion Ivan Cervantes in Triumph attire, announcing the date of the pending announcement.

If one is reading the tea leaves correctly with these rider picks, then Triumph is set to debut both a motocross an enduro series of dirt bikes.

The European Union is pushing hard to become the first continent that is carbon-neutral, with a self-imposed deadline of achieving that goal by 2050.

To help reach that end, the European Commission (the EU’s executive branch) has aimed for a 55% reduction in CO2 by 2030, and that cars and vans have a 100% CO2 reduction by 2035.

With initiatives in place to bolster electric charging points throughout the European Union, our friends across the pond are poised to make some drastic shifts in their transportation sectors.

The next generation of the Harley-Davidson Sportster is here today, with the debut of the 2021 Harley-Davidson Sportster S.

Teased originally as the Harley-Davidson 1250 Custom, we learned recently that the new bike, with its very modern design, would be designated as the next Sportster, and the name suggests that Harley-Davidson hasn’t shown us the last of this sub-brand’s rebirth.

Part of the overhaul of the Harley-Davidson business operations is the creation of the LiveWire electric motorcycle brand, which will stand apart from the Bar & Shield and offer Milwaukee’s future electric ventures.

As such, LiveWire is ready to show us its first motorcycle…again, as the LiveWire ONE is a lightly updated Harley-Davidson Livewire motorcycle.
