If you put a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R in your garage this year, then you should pay attention to the latest recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
At the heart of the recall is an issue with the ZX-14R’s front brake master cylinder, which may be missing an internal component that can cause inconsistent front braking force. In total, 84 motorcycles might could have this issue.

Zero Motorcycles is recalling a bevy of its electric motorcycle models, though only 64 units are affected by this recall with the NHTSA.
As such, the recall concerns the 2021 model year SR, S, DSR, DS, FX and FXS motorcycles, built between August 19th, 2020 and October 5th, 2020.
At the core of the issue is the DC-DC converter on these affected models, which may have insufficient power output margin to operate effectively.

We have seen a few recalls from BMW Motorrad North America lately, and now we can add another to the tally. In this latest recall with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we see 447 units from BMW’s R series of bikes involved in a recall.
As such, BMW is recalling the BMW R1250 RT, R1250R, R1250RS, R1250GS, and R1250 GS Adventure motorcycles from the 2021 model year for issues with its tire pressure labels.
The second of BMW Motorrad USA’s recalls to hit in the past few days, this one concerns the fuel pump flange on the following motorcycles: BMW K1300S (2009-2011), BMW K1300GT (2009-2011), BMW S1000 RR (2010-2011), BMW R1200GS (2005-2011), BMW R1200GS Adventure (2005-2011), BMW R1200R (2005-2011), BMW R1200RT (2005-2011), BMW R1200S (2005-2011), BMW R1200 ST (2005-2011), BMW HP2 Enduro (2006-2010), BMW HP2 Megamoto (2006-2010), BMW HP2 Sport (2006-2010), BMW K1200R (2005-2008), BMW K1200R Sport (2005-2008), BMW K1200B (2005-2008), BMW K1200S (2005-2008), BMW K1200GT (2005-2008), BMW K1600GT (2012), and the BMW K1600GTL (2012).
As you can tell from the extensive list, there is a plethora of machines in the United States affected by this recall, 16,926 motorcycles to be precise, and it is a continuation of a previous recall for the same issue.
BMW Motorrad USA has two recalls this week, and the first one concerns the braking components on 9,392 motorcycles, across five models.
Specifically, the recall affects certain BMW R1250GS (2019-2020), BMW R1250GS Adventure (2019-2020, BMW R1250RT (2019-2020, BMW S1000RR (2020), BMW S1000XR (2020) motorcycles.

Triumph Motorcycles America is having to recall 603 units of its new Triumph Tiger 900 (Tiger 900, Tiger 900 GT, & Tiger 900 Rally) series because of issues with the bikes’ rear deflector.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 and Ducati Streetfighter V4 S are being recalled in the United States because of issues concerning their flywheels.
The issue stems from the fact that the generator rotor (flywheel) could have a potential metallurgical issue – the steel bars used to form the flywheel may have cracks that even after the forging process are still present on the final component.
This could lead to the flywheel breaking during use.
