Your Flying Motorcycle Future Is Almost Here

Motorcycle builder Lazareth is known for being a bit…out there, as the French brand made itself internet famous with the Lazareth LM 847 – a four-wheeled motorcycle with a Maserati engine that looks like the Dodge Tomahawk and the Ducati 1199 Panigale had a baby.

The company’s other creations don’t disappoint when it comes to being loud and attention grabbing concepts, and we generally encourage this sort of free-thinking spirit from the brand.

But, when you have already cranked motorcycles up to 11, where do you go from there?

“Up” is apparently the answer, as Lazareth is teasing what appears to be a jet-powered hover bike that is based off its LM 847 motorcycle. Yes, you read that right.

We have a little over a month of waiting to see what Lazareth is really up to, according to the teaser video posted on YouTube, but the concept is pretty well flushed out.

The video shows the Lazareth LM 847’s wheels moving out from the centerline of the vehicle, with jet booster engines for hubs clearly shown. 3, 2, 1, ignition…and the fire from the burners is on. Fade to black.

It is ridiculous, it is wonderful, and I’m not even sure if it is real. Quick, what’s today’s date? There is a joke in here somewhere about rising from the dead.

Needless to say, we will keep an eye on this space…but then again, that’s the whole point of such a promo video. Right?
