For Biaggi fans, this title has been a long-time in the making, as The Emperor hasn’t won a championship title since his 250GP days.
While some will mire Aprilia’s dominance in the latter-half of the season with debate surrounding the RSV4’s controversial gear-driven camshaft upgrade, the fact of the matter remains that the Noale factory was able to produce a winning platform during a recession that sent other manufacturers into hiding, which has only made the Aprilia RSV4 stand out that much more on showroom floors.
