Paddock Pass Podcast #169 – WorldSBK at Estoril

Episode 169 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one is a WorldSBK show, which means that this one sees Steve English and Gordon Ritchie on the mics.

Our WorldSBK duo comes to us from Estoril, where the 2020 season culminated and finally crowned a champion during Saturday’s race. That man is now six-time WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea.

Looking at this masterclass season for Rea and Kawasaki, the podcast dives into what makes Rea and the KRT squad such a fierce pairing, and to help us do that, we hear from the men themselves: Jonathan Rea and his crew chief Pere Riba.

What they have to say sheds some good insights into what it takes to win a championship (especially how to win a championship six times), and it gives some premonition on what the competition will have to achieve in 2021 if they want to unseat the current victors.

As usual, it is a show stocked full of insights, which we think you will find most interesting to listen to. Enjoy!
