Paddock Pass Podcast #109 – WorldSBK at Laguna Seca

Episode 109 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one is another WorldSBK show. As such, this means that we see Steve English joined by Gordon Ritchie on the mics, as they are now our World Superbike reporting duo for the 2019 season.

Recording straight from the United States, the guys talk about the on-track action at Laguna Seca, where we saw an unbelievable turn of events in the championship standings, mostly in the form of Alvaro Bautista’s complete meltdown on the track.

Unable to score points in any of the three races at the American round, Bautista has all but assured Jonathan Rea of the 2019 championship title, which is of course a major topic of discussion. Notes are also shared about Rea’s performance, as well as the returning to form for Chaz Davies.

With WorldSBK headed into its summer break, the guys muse about what is in store for the rest of the season as well, which makes for interesting conversation.

As always, Steve and Gordo have a ton of insight into the superbike class, and share it with all of us listening, so if you are a WorldSBK fan – or Superbike curious – then you won’t want to miss their discussion.
