MV Agusta Coming to Canada

MV Agusta has entered into an exclusive agreement with the Motovan Corporation to serve as MV Agusta’s exclusive importer to the Canadian market. The agreement will finally bring the Varese company’s motorcycles to our neighbors to the North, but don’t expect it to happen overnight, ehh. According to Motovan and MV Agusta, import levels in 2011 will be extremely limited for Canada, and serious buyers will have to reserve their motorcycle online if they want to receive it. With the MV Agusta F3 being a 2012  model, we imagine that for the bulk of would-be MV Agusta owners, this supply issue will not be a problem.

According to MV Agusta, Motovan will be appointing a small number of high-level dealers across Canada to carry MV Agusta motorcycles. “We have finally succeeded in obtaining all of the necessary approvals from the Canadian authorities therefore the motorcycles can be imported into Canada for the very first time in the history of MV Agusta. After many inquiries from Canadian consumers, we are very proud to have reached an agreement with a reputable Canadian powersports organization such as Motovan,” said Umberto Uccelli Sales Director MV Agusta.

Gaining import into Canada is just one step for MV Agusta, and the Italian company has hinted that similar announcements will be forthcoming in the near future as MV Agusta ramps up its distribution and dealer network.
