Triumph has announced that it has formed a partnership with the Swedish Suspension house, Öhlins. The partnership will mean that Öhlins will provide compenants for a variety of bikes in Triumph’s “urban sports” range, namely the Daytona 675, Street Triple, Street Triple R, Speed Triple, and Tiger motorcycles.
Announced at the French GP, premium suspension manufacturer, Öhlins will ship this snazzy watch with the purchase of either of their ultra-premium shock-absorbers, the TTX 36 or TTX 36 LE. More Pictures after the jump.
While not exactly “street bike” news, we thought the A&R readership would find this latest press release from KTM interesting nonetheless.
KTM owners of current SX, XC, XC-W, and EXC model dirt bikes can now have their motorcycles tuned by KTM factory technicians to the exact same specifications as the KTM factory supported race bikes.
Ducati has issued a recall for a number of its 2009 1198cc motored models that have the upgraded Öhlins suspension. Specifically the recall affects the 2009 1098R, 1198S, and Streetfighter S. Ducati is issuing the recall because of possible cracking in the lower pinch bolt area of the right fork. This defect affects 732 units sold in the United States.
