Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR Finally Coming to the USA

When the Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR debuted at EICMA last year, we lamented that the “long range” version of the 701 Enduro wasn’t coming to the USA at the time, as its 6.6-gallon (25-liter) gas tank seemed like a great idea for the North American market.

The minds at Husqvarna North America must have agreed with us, because today we get news that the Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR is coming to the USA, as a 2021 model – available in US dealerships in Fall 2020.

There is no word yet on pricing for the 2021 Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR, but we would expect the bike to have a modest price increase off the base version, which retails for $11,999 MSRP.

For that coin, you get a true dirt bike that was made to go long-distances. Husqvarna lists the fey features as the following:

  • Lightweight, integrated fuel tanks – an additional 3.2-gallon capacity in the front bodywork
  • Switchable Ride Modes
  • Bosch cornering ABS
  • Easy Shift function
  • Lean-angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control
  • Chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame

Husqvarna estimates that the fuel range on the LR is roughly 310 miles (500 kilometers). For those already with a Husqvarna 701 Enduro in their garage, Husqvarna sells the LR kit separately.
