Video: MV Agusta Brutale Dragster 800 RR in Motion

It looks like since the MV Agusta Brutale Dragster 800 RR (its full name) has blown cover, thanks to our Bothan spies, MV Agusta has gone ahead and released a few photos and this video to the press. A longer version of the drag strip video we brought you two weeks ago, this time around we see the Dragster RR in full.

Some seem to love this bike, while others hate it. We certainly agree it looks better in the black variation, than the white, but MV Agusta has no shortage of design prowess — expect this machine to be a stunner in person, when it debuts officially at EICMA.

With upgraded wheels and vibrant paint, how does this 140hp three-cylinder hot rod strike your fancy? Let us know in the comments.

    Annnnndddd…I still don’t get it.

  • I like this bike a lot – its so cute looking, yet it means business & the MVA engines are usually wickedly refined / especially with he improved mapping. Actually I like the white wheels also, it gives a motoGP look to the bike ..

SO – definitely wish to test ride it, and see if I fit comfortably on such a short wheel base . Doubt I will see my street_fighter 1098 & in many ways its so similar a genre I can’t have two naked Italian chics – can ?

    – oh dear ..!!

Cool sounding triple with lame styling cues. Riser bolt-on bars hearken back to the 80’s and limit custom choices.

Where’s Evil Knievel and his white leather suit when you need him?

  • Keith

Sorry…I meant Evel Knievel….and I forgot to mention the cape–this bike definitely needs the cape….

  • Peter

    @Keith – No Capes

The Brutale is already quite ugly, with the unsightly humpback tank. So imagine you draped Quasimodo with bling and then dressed him in drag. Campy kitsch for the under-100-IQ demographic. It’s the sort of bike that plebeians imagine rich people would ride, if the rich knew anything about motorcycles.

Aspiration: every stripper in town is going to want my junk after I get a Brutale Dragster.

  • @sunstroke : So , According to you which bike is beautiful ?? As to me Mvs are still the most beautiful bikes on earht alongside Ducatis.

Next time you should check the specs on the MV website before posting an article. :P
Apparently this thing has 140HP and a up-and-down-quickshift.

nice looking bike, but I failed to see a quarter mile time

who signed off on spokes? not one of the drag cars they were assimilating with this bike ran spokes…probably b/c none do…call it something different guys, and next time consult with real live American drag racers…

  • SpeedTripleR

Kinda like porn but……………so much better ;-) haha. I am definitely interested in this and will have to see about test riding one when it get’s to the states. I think it’s great look! I love the red accents and the spokes, give it kind of a retro bad boy look and I’m diggin it :) so some people don’t like, who cares :) nothing wrong with having different taste.

I like it. If I had more money and room I’d get one just for the looks. Just wonder how it handles. Or is like the original H2? Hope MV mechanics know how to tighten spokes.
