The Bimota KB4 Is Rocking That Coveted Radiator-Under-Seat Look

The Bimota KB4 has been known about since the first concept sketch went out at the 2019 EICMA show. It has been a long pandemic since, but now that retro-styled sport bike is ready for primetime.

As such, there is a bit we already knew about this machine before its debut. We knew it would feature the same power plant as is found on the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX (Kawasaki now owning a good chunk of Bimota).

This means a 142hp peak horsepower figure from the bike’s 1,043cc inline-four engine. But, what really gets our hair wet is that  Bimota moved the radiator on the KB4 to under the bike’s seat, channeling are back there with a massive duct.

Suspension is done by Öhlins, with FG R&T 43mm NIX30 forks and a TTX36 rear shock. Those pieces connect to OZ forged aluminum wheels, which are shod with Pirelli tires.

Braking up front is done by Brembo Stylema calipers, mated to dual 320mm discs. Bimota claims a dry weight of 412 lbs (187 kg), though it’s not clear what that will amount to once all the liquids are onboard.

Both the Bimota KB4, and Bimota KB4 RC (the more vintage inspired of the two bikes), share this feature set, though the RC model comes with considerably less fairing.
