The 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure is one of the machines we know for sure we’ll see at the fall motorcycle shows, and it looks like KTM is ready to show us this upgraded ADV ahead of time.

Giving us our first official photo of the 1290 Super Adventure, KTM says that the machine features a larger motor and larger fuel tank, amongst other changes.

Positioned as a more high-end option to KTM’s current Adventure line, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure comes with Bosch’s Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) system, traction control, and ABS — as we predicted.

We’ll have more details on the bike at the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany, on September 30th.

I don’t see and wires going to the forks; no dynamic suspension? It could be that I don’t see them from the angle or that I’m looking at it on my phone. Since I’m in the market for a new adv bike, I like that aspect for street riding

    Definitely has electronic suspension.

To be followed 6 months later by the KTM 1299 Super Duper Adventure!!!!! Which will have adjustable electric windshield and built in GPS and 13 more hp!!!! We will update you on the 2016 KTM 1320 Super ULTRA Adventure as details become available. ;-)

Being from the school of it aint broke I ask who is it that can afford these bikes? I make good money and ride about 15-20k miles a year, I can not see a $18,000 bill for a bike.

I guess when the 800GS (76,238 miles so far) is worn out I may look at the KLR again.

Jensen, forgot about that. If it’s cheaper than the Beemer (let’s be honest, it will be), then I will have a new bike in the garage soon

Why do we need a 1300cc Adventure bike?

That very few will ride off road??

Why not just call it a touring bike……

Jerdog, why do we need 200hp Superbikes? That very few will take to the track?
