UPDATE: Hopper Has NOT Signed with FB Corse

It would seem reports that John Hopkins will be back in MotoGP with FB Corse were premature. While confirming that Hopper has been talking to the Italian GP team, his manager Bob Moore has denied any news that the American rider has signed with the team. Moore goes on to say that Hopkins is still considering all options at this point in time, including a ride in the AMA Pro Racing series.

While likely just positioning at the bargaining table, the news does keep hope alive for Pat Clark Motorsports. A couple weeks ago we broke the news that PCM was in talks with Ben Bostrom, Jake Zemke, and John Hopkins in an effort to sign all three riders to his Superbike team.

FB Corse is still set to debut its team sometime in the middle of January, which gives us less than two weeks of waiting to see where Hopper will be racing for 2010.
