Paddock Pass Podcast Episode 197 – Doha GP

Episode 197 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this show is the first of our MotoGP race coverage for the 2021 season.

On the mics, we have our usual crew of Steve English, David Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Adam Wheeler, who discuss in depth the on-track action under the lights of Losail.

Despite racing in Qatar just a weekend prior, the Doha GP proved itself to be a different animal, which the guys discuss.

First, there is the surprise performance of Jorge Martin, who led virtually the whole race, then there was the French 1-2 result by Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco.

Of course, there is a conversation about the clash between Jack Miller and Joan Mir, with some call-in insights from Michael Laverty.

The guys also talk about the lackluster performance of the Petronas Yamaha squad, despite the strong results of the factory team.

As always, the conversation is insightful and lively, and it helps prime us for the start of the MotoGP season this weekend.
