Paddock Pass Podcast #131 – MotoGP Qatar Test Preview

Episode 131 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one gives us a preview of what to expect at the upcoming MotoGP preseason test at Qatar.

Giving us lowdown in this show are Steve English and David Emmett, with the pair talking about a little WorldSBK action as well.

The show starts off with a conversation about what the Sepang test means for the MotoGP paddock, and thus what stories to look for in Qatar.

Of interest is how the Michelin rear tire will hold up in the cold night temperatures in the desert, as well as the abrasive track conditions at Qatar. We will also be looking to see how the shoulder of Marc Marquez has healed and improved.

From there, the show turns to the WorldSBK paddock, which is close to having its preseason test at Phillip Island, which is right before the season-opener at the Australian track.

Of primary concern is the development of the Honda CBR1000RR-R and whether HRC will be able to give Kawasaki and Jonathan Rea a run for their money this year.

As usual, the show is packed with great commentary from the guys regarding what is going on in the paddock, and we think you will enjoy listening to their insights.
