Suzuki has sent out to the European press a teaser invitation to an unnamed launch event, which many are speculating to be Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. Simply stating that is was going to release a new middleweight model by the end of June, best guesses suggest that the new motorcycle will be an updated version of the V-Strom line, that sees a new look, chassis, brakes, and motor. Unchanged since 2004, the 650cc v-twin is expected to borrow heavily from the Gladius platform, which may reduce costs at the risk of angering the V-Strom loyal. Seen in the invitation are panniers and an updated fairing and headlight style (thus ruling out the SV650 as some rumors had suggested).
