Despite assurances from Ducati’s new owners, The Doctor apparently didn’t see the Desmo improving within the narrow window of Rossi’s remaining MotoGP career. Announcing his decision ahead of the Indianapolis GP, Valentino Rossi will join Jorge Lorenzo at the Yamaha Racing squad, where the Italian hopes he will again be competitive for race wins. While the Ducati/Rossi partnership seemed like a match made in Italian heaven, we think most VR46 fans will welcome the news of this divorce.
