This Is The Most Powerful Production Triumph Motorcycle Ever

What you are looking at is the most powerful motorcycle ever created by Triumph. It has 168hp, and makes 163 lbs•ft of peak torque from its three-cylinder engine. A massive 2,458cc of fire and pistons, this rocket ship isn’t a new Daytona or Speed Triple, instead it is the new Triumph Rocket 3 TFC.

There is perhaps a commentary to be made that the most powerful Triumph ever created by Hinckley is in fact a cruiser, or that such a bike is the second machine to get the “Triumph Factory Custom” treatment from the British brand.

Such is the state of affairs from the marque that brought us the original production streetfighter. But nonetheless, the Triumph Rocket 3 TFC offers the cruiser-loving realm a machine that boasts some impressive performance figures.

For the North American market, only 225 examples of the 2019 Triumph Rocket 3 TFC will make it – out of a worldwide production run of 750 units. The exclusivity gets you the most torque from any production motorcycle engine in the world, which unsurprisingly comes from the largest displacement motorcycle engine in production.

Like any performance bike, the Triumph Rocket 3 TFC comes with a robust electronics package, which includes cornering ABS, traction control, quickshifter, TFT dash, and four riding modes.

Brakes are by Brembo (and includes an MCS master cylinder and Stylema front calipers), while the suspension is done in collaboration with Showa (with a fully adjustable rear shock, and forks with damping adjustment). Visual highlights abound as well, including the iconic style from the new LED dual-headlamps.

Still a big girl, the 2019 Triumph Rocket 3 TFC weighs 648 lbs (dry), which is 88 lbs lighter than its predecessor. If that sounds like your kind of fun, orders are being taken now, with delivery expected in December 2019.

Pricing is set at $29,000 USD / $33,000 CAD, which is quite the princely sum – we might add.
