New Victory Motorcycle to Debut at IMS Long Beach

Victory is set to debut a new motorcycle at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show at Long Beach next week, and is teasing the new model on Facebook and YouTube. What will the new model be? Your guess is as good as ours, though it appears to have spoked wheels and a pinstripe paint job.

Judging from the imagery in Victory’s teaser video, we imagine a flat black murdered-out urban warrior on two wheels is the flavor du jour. The bigger question though is whether the new bike will take Victory into a new model segment, or just bolster its current offering. We hope it’s the prior, though we’ll have to wait until December 9th to find out.

Hopefully it’ll be something actually new. Seems that way, since they already released their 2012 models. Maybe they’ll actually take a chance, and do something other than a cruiser. Maybe not. Either way, I’m not sure if I prefer this marketing strategy, or the “ZOMG spy shot!” one. Perhaps somewhere in between.

With spoked wheels ? I doubt it, I HIGHLY DOUBT IT.
But hey…maybe a star will fall from the sky this time ? LMFAO.

In my experience nothing exciting comes with a 130/70B18 front tire.

Hopefully somebody has picked up where Eric Buell was going and before the idiots at H-D dropped the Buell line – building what many of us think a bike should be: light, agile, balanced, ergonomic, comfortable, efficient and not something that sounds like a crazed mosquito needing at least 10K on the tach to make some power.
