Ducati Diavel Pricing Confirmed 2011 ducati diavel carbon 29 635x475

Confirming what we already told you last month, Ducati has officially announced the pricing on the 2011 Ducati Diavel power cruiser. With the base Diavel costing $16,995, Ducatisti can spend an extra $3,000 for the Diavel Carbon, which costs $19,995, or purchase the Diavel Carbon “Red” (named for its red frame and rally stripe) for $20,395.

Is the Ducati Diavel not your cup of tea? In an interesting move, Ducati has setup a feature on its Diavel mirco-site for people to sound off their opinions on the new Italian machine by filling out a questionnaire. You can catch the Ducati Diavel, and many of the other recently released motorcycles, in person at the International Motorcycle Show through March.

Comment:

  1. I really like the styling of the Diavel. As a cruiser owner, I think the bike will fit right in with it’s competition and give them a run for their money. Great job, Ducati.

  2. irksome says:

It now looks less like an armadillo dry-humping a warthog. But not much less.

“But she has a GREAT personality…”

  3. BikePilot says:

Idon’t care for cruisers and this is no exception, but if I had to ride a cruiser I’d probably chose this monstrousity ;) No worries though, ducati makes at least 4 other bikes I’d would seriously consider purchasing (MTS1200, Monster1100, Hypermotard 1100and Streetfighter).

I still think ducati’s R&D dollars could more profitably been spent making an 848-based streetfighter and multi. Look at the popularity of the trumpet street triple – sub-liter class naked bikes sell (but I’ll take the liter+ version myself thanks).

Lets hope the fuel tank works with our crappy 10% E fuel…

  4. Isis says:

I just don’t see what’s so bad about this bike. I’d rather pay 16-19k for this type of bike from Ducati than from Yamaha. And I’ve been lusting over Vmax’s for as long as I’ve known they existed. It’s not my type of ride yet, but as I get older, it just might be.

  5. ML says:

Honestly, I like the bike except for the headlight. Its shape reminds me of Alien.

  6. pokheng says:

    wow..this bike awesome, brutal,i like this……..

  7. gnmac says:

Every one of those 20,395 pennies is a complete waste! FUUUUUUUGGGGGGLY porker, no matter what price tag you put on it!!!

  8. Really? For $203.95 you wouldn’t buy that bike? ;)

  9. ting tong says:

gnmac have bad taste, bad instinct, maybe…he doesn’t know to see which one is diamond, which one is glass…poor him…pprrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrffght

  10. MikeD says:

I have to say….. It is growing on me. lol.
