Paddock Pass Podcast Episode 270 – MotoGP at Argentina

Episode 270 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one sees us looking at the Argentina GP at the Termas de Rio Hondo.

On the mics, we have David Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Adam Wheeler, as the trio discusses MotoGP’s sole stop on the South American continent.

An obvious first topic, the guys look at how the Argentina GP almost didn’t happen, because of the late arrival of the MotoGP paddock freight.

From there, we look at the historic ride by Aleix Espargaro, which gave Aprilia Racing its first ever premier-class victory.

That turns into a conversation about how Argentina marks a turning point for Aprilia, and whether Aleix Espargaro or even Maverick Viñales will be able to repeat it this season.

From there, the show discusses the chaotic start to the 2022 season, with nine different riders on the podium so far.

Does this mean that MotoGP is random, or is it disguising an underlying pattern? What will happen once MotoGP returns to Europe?

As usual, the guys finish up as always with their winners and losers, and predictions for the GP of the Americas in Austin this weekend.
