Episode 261 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one sees us with a special guest on the microphones – Jason Thomas, from Fly Racing.

Joining him on the mics, we have the usual crew of Steve EnglishDavid Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Adam Wheeler, as they have a casual conversation about racing, the MotoGP paddock, and what it takes to compete at the top level of sport.

A former professional Motocross and Supercross racer, Thomas brings a wealth of insight into the topic of racing, and he shares with the crew some interesting stories from his experiences inside and outside of the sport.

The conversation starts with Thomas’ experience at Valentino Rossi’s ranch, riding on the day that supposedly ended the relationship between the Italian and Marc Marquez.

From there, the guys talk about what goes into a racer’s mentality and training, and how to develop young talent into superstardom.

The show finishes with a frank conversation about the US media coverage of motorcycle racing, and how to make two-wheels a bigger part of the American racing ecosystem.

It’s an interesting conversation with no shortage of insights that we think you will enjoy. Give it a listen!
