Dani Pedrosa was happy with his day’s work despite crashing and remounting on the 1st lap. He reported no ill effects following his arm pump surgery, other than the expected lack of strength.

Another strong showing by Andrea Dovizioso who claimed his 4th podium of the season.

Valentino Rossi still leads the world championship but Jorge Lorenzo is starting to look threatening.

Halfway round the first lap and Jorge Lorenzo has already checked out.

Marc Marquez struggled throughout the race with a lack of front end grip. He attributed it to the increase in track temperature with the race being run in much warmer conditions than the rest of the weekend.

Jorge Lorenzo rode a fautless race to take his 35th MotoGP class win.

A perfect weekend for the Moviestar Yamaha team who took the first two steps on the podium.

Pol Espargaro continues to struggle, and was comfortably beaten by his teammate again.

The battle between Andrea Iannone and Marc Marquez, with about 6 laps to go was the highlight of the race. The pair traded places several times over two thrilling laps before Marquez managed to pull away.

Danilo Petrucci leads Nicky Hayden into Turn 9 during the early stages of the race.

Loris Baz finished 12th and 2nd open bike, in his first home Grand Prix.

Back to back wins have moved Jorge Lorenzo to 2nd in the championship, only 15 points behind teammate Valentino Rossi.

Valentino Rossi’s trophy cabinet must be the size of a large family home by now.
