Episode 207 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one is our Moto2 and Moto3 follow-up to Episode 206, which focused on the MotoGP action from the French GP at Le Mans.

On the mics, we have Steve English, Neil Morrison, and Adam Wheeler, as the trio discusses the support-class action from Jerez.

The show kicks off with a discussion of the Moto3 race, and how it was nothing like a normal Moto3 race thanks to the rain. Of course, the guys have to discuss Pedro Acosta’s mistake, and how he managed to get away with it thanks to the falls of his main rivals.

From there, the crew debates the relative strength of the grid in Moto3 this year, and whether it is weaker than in the past. And they discuss GasGas getting their first win, as a rebadged KTM.

The show also talks about the Moto2 race, specifically about how strong Raul Fernandez has been as a rookie, especially given the big difference between the Moto3 and Moto2 bikes.

Lastly, the episode covers how the new Triumph engine and electronics means it is less of a risk to stay in the class for a year. And from there, there is a conversation about Remy Gardner and Marco Bezzecchi, and who could be moving up to MotoGP next year.

Once again, we are lucky to get also the insights of BT expert Michael Laverty on Moto2 and Moto3.

As always, the conversation is insightful and lively, and it helps prime us for the start of the MotoGP season this weekend.
