X-Bow

Your eyes are not seeing double. This is in fact a four-wheeled vehicle on the pages of Asphalt & Rubber. It also a KTM. It is a 600hp, Audi-powered, KTM race car actually.

Officially dubbed the KTM X-Bow GTX, this project has evolved over the last 12 years from a peppy open-roof track car for the rich, to a well-sorted racing machine that is ready for a GT2 class near you.

We’ll be the first to admit that we don’t fully understand why KTM made the X-Box, better known as the go-kart on steroids…but we sure do want one nonetheless. Along that same vein, we’re not sure why a company like Ducati, known for its two-wheeled pieces of art and performance, would want to try its hand in the four-wheeled realm, but if this is the result, we could probably get over that sentiment.

I know this is a motorcycle blog, but who wouldn’t want to take a KTM X-Bow out for a spin on a wet track (Vienna Drift?)?? In a pinch we’d take the Supermoto 990 instead. It’s too bad the weather wasn’t better so we could see a proper shoot-out between the two. Leave in the comments who you think would win.
