Interesting news from MV Agusta, as the Italian brand has launched a new design studio in the Principality of Monaco, which will operate in addition to the Castiglioni Research Center that is San Marino.

The Monaco Design Studio is an off-shoot of the MV Agusta dealership in Monte-Carlo, which is run by notable Italian motorcycle racer Virginio Ferrari.

The purpose of the Monaco Design Studio is to cater to the über-wealthy that call the principality home, providing them with a boutique and bespoke customizing experience in direct relationship with the Italian factory.

The motorcycle brand Voxan saw new life in 2010, when it was bought by Venturi Automobiles, and transformed into an electric motorcycle company. A pet project of billionaire Gildo Pallanca Pastor, Voxan debuted its first motorcycle, the Voxan Wattman, in 2013. You either loved it, or hated it…we were of the latter opinion.

Production details on the Voxan Wattman were sketchy at the time of the bike’s release, and Pastor has a reputation of not seeing project through to their finish. Therefore, it is not surprising that reports out of France say that Venturi has pulled the plug on Voxan, and the Wattman.

There must have been someone going around the MotoGP paddock many years back, handing out bad financial advice to any rider they could find, because Loris Capirossi is now the second MotoGP rider (that we here at A&R can think of), that’s been slapped with an income tax evasion fine in the past few years.

Capirex, like Valentino Rossi before him, has found himself on the wrong-end of the law, after losing an appeal to his charge of income tax evasion, and accordingly must pay a €2 million fine for his actions.
