Ducati to Update 2010 Hypermotard 1100 – More Power, Stiffer Chassis

It seems Ducati is not going to waste any time in revamping the Hypermotard 1100, after the recent launch of the 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 796 (pictured above) caused some surprise with the public on its subtle design differences, and similar power characteristics.

Due to be unveiled at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 will get a power boost, as well as a revised chassis, handlebars, and other design bits that will bring the original HM in-line with the 796’s look and power.

NCR Corse Millona One Shot: Air-Cooled Desmo Fun

Based off the air-cooled Ducati 1100cc motor, NCR Corse has made a track bike worthy of multiple droolings. Named the Millona, the bike tips the scales at 275lbs, and puts out 121hp in its 1200cc form (at 1100cc the bike makes 116hp).

Preview of the Ducati Monster 1100

The Monster saved Ducati from the brink of bankruptcy and has become the bread winner in Bologna, accounting for more than half of Ducati’s sales worldwide. With the advent of the 1098 series replacing the 999, it was only a matter of time before the Monster got a similar displacement increase. That matter time, is of course…now.

Ducati has given a preview of the new Monster in Cologne, price and time of release still to be determined, but Feburary 2009 is likely.
