  • Espargaro’s performance in Q1 was exemplary. Talk about serving notice to any laggards on prototypes. Well done.

  • Jonathan

Dovi 4th? Looks like I’m going to have to buy a hat – and eat it. Thank the stars that MotoGP is back. It’s been a long winter.

Tyres, tyres, tyres. While Dovi’s qual results were fantastic – half a second down on pole, and half a second up on Rossi (ouch, vale, ouch – that hurts huh), the Ducati struggles with race-worn tyres so things will be a *lot* different in the race. But I’m really hoping he will do well, reports are saying he’s throwing the bike around a’la casey so who knows, he may be able to master the beast during the course of the season.

Jorge will run away with this one, hopefully with Cal in hot pursuit. Third could be either Dani/Marc or Vale.

Not long to wait. I will have to be up at 5am on Monday morning here in Australia, but I still wouldn’t miss it for the world!

4th is Dovi’s magic number. Kudos to Espargaro !

Looks like we have a racing season again.
