If you’re not in the motorcycle industry, the name Aldo Drudi might still ring a bell, as the Italian designer has done work with some of the biggest names in the sport like, Marco Luchinelli, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan, Alex Crivillé, Kenny Roberts Jr, Marco Melandri, Manuel Poggiali, and Valentino Rossi. Most recently Drudi has inked the livery for American Honda’s Moto2 wildcard at the Indianapolis GP, and of course worked on Valentino Rossi’s helmets and Ducati livery.

Retaining the talents of Maestro Drudi, the Isle of Man TT announced today its 20111 IOMTT replica helmet. The RX-7 GP helmet is the second replica of three in the Isle of Man’s collaboration with Arai Helmets, and will be limited to a production run of only 500 units.

This year the helmet commemorates the 100th running of The Mountain course, and bares the names of many of the famous bends and sections of the course. Unsurprisingly the TT logo and Manx triskelion have also been incorporated into the design.

During the 2011 Isle of Man TT, several high-profile rider will wear the replica helmet, as will the course marshals during their official duties. Pricing will be set at t £699.99 and will be exclusively distributed by Arai’s UK importer Phoenix Distribution.
