Spy Photo: MV Agusta Brutale 675 B3

Set for its official public debut at this year’s EICMA show, the MV Agusta Brutale 675 B3 was caught testing in this “spy photo” that was snapped near Varese, Italy. The form of the three-cylinder naked streetbike is not terribly surprising, as it borrows heavily from the MV Agusta F3, making similar changes to the supersport’s design as the original Brutale did with the MV Agusta F4. Expected to sell around the €9,000 mark, the Brutale 675 will be MV Agusta’s most affordable motorcycle.

While the four-cylinder F4/Brutale will remain MV Agusta’s premium offering, the three-cylinder bikes like the F3 and Brutale 675 B3 will take the brand into new realms, both in terms of price points and market segments. MV Agusta has already disclosed its plans on making a three-cylinder hypermotard model that would be based off the F3’s motor, and there are rumors of a dual-sport/adventure model as well. While the long-term roadmap for MV looks quite promising, the biggest worries right now with the Italian company is its short-term survival.

Looks like a nice MV, assuming MV can stay afloat.

I think the idea that MV is for some reason going to just poof up and disappear are highly speculative. Many manufacturers (including some rather big names) have been on a COD basis with their vendors before and are still in operation. Let’s just wait and see before we start writing MV’s obituary. The individual who last put MV in jeopardy is no longer at the helm (RIP), so I have high hopes that the new powers that be will be able to get things sorted in due time.

I will buy both this Brutale and F3…. if they price each 9k and 11k respectively :)

That’s one Anorexic looking Bike. If only i had the $$$.

It looks very nice, though the frame should be made to stand out more. A flat gold colored frame, sorta like the series ore used to have would probably work well. Clear coated bare metal could also work.

    I want to have a three-way the F3, B3 & Me…
