Brap Talk Podcast #78 – Shiny New Things

Episode 78 of the Brap Talk motorcycle podcast is out with another “weekly” episode, for your two-wheeled listening pleasure.

In this episode, we dive into a bunch of new bike releases, and things get…spirited along the way.

Our first stop on this crazy train is the debut of the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, which delights both Shahin and Jensen.

From there, we look at the Honda NT1100, which is a sport-tourer based off the Africa Twin platform. For the half the price of the Pikes Peak, the Honda promises plenty of fun on a budget. We really hope it comes to the American market.

From there, we look at BMW Motorrad’s updates to the K1600 lineup, which has grown to four models now. We discuss what this means for the Gold Wing rival, and what the state of play is in this curious segment.

Our last bike is the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO, which was a story broken by A&R‘s own Bothan spies. One of Jensen’s favorite bikes, the Austrian machine seems to only be getting better.

That leads us into an interesting conversation about KTM’s plight in the US market, and why the Super Duke struggles to sell, despite being such a fun bike to ride.

It’s a fun discussion, and we think you will find it to be an interesting. As always, keep checking back for our “weekly” chats.
