Brap Talk Podcast #57 – OW-02

Episode 57 of the Brap Talk motorcycle podcast is out with another weekly episode, for your two-wheeled listening pleasure.

Things start off with a conversation about automatic gearboxes on motorcycles, as Jensen continues to play with the DCT version of the Africa Twin 1100 Sport ES, and we wonder why we don’t see more DCT/automatics in the motorcycle industry.

From there, we look at the rumors that a Ducati Multistrada V4 is coming with a 17″ front wheel, and how that could fit into the Italian brand’s two-wheeled offering.

Next, we have a discussion about Yamaha’s plan to bring back the “R7” name, but for a budget-focused sport bike based on the MT-07 platform. Is this treading on the grave of an iconic motorcycle name, or a smart play from the tuning fork brand?

We finish the show with some news from Damon Motors, which has just completed a large funding round, and looks far less like vaporware than before.

As you can tell, it’s a packed show, and we think you will find it to be an interesting. As always, keep checking back for our “weekly” chats.
