Not content to just simply bring the Hypermotard 1100 in-line with the Hypermotard 796, Ducati is upping the ante on the Hypermotard front with the 2010 Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP. Designed to be a decisive street/track weapon, the EVO SP takes over where the 2009 Hypermotard 1100S left off.

The 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP features higher spec suspension, with 50mm Marzocchi forks up front, and a Öhlins shock in the back. The Marzocchi forks are longer than the EVO’s and provide 1.38 inches of additional ground clearance.

Helping bring the EVO SP to a stop are Brembo Monobloc calipers on 305mm discs. These will be mated to 5-spoke forged Marchesini wheels, complete with red pin-striping.

Ducati has also taken time to focus on the details of the bike, adding serrated tops to the footpegs for extra grip, and teflon sliders underneath the pegs for extra slide when scrapping pegs in a corner.

As one expects, the 2010 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP features an extensive use of carbon fiber to help distinguish it visually from the EVO base model.

The Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP comes in both Ducati Red or White paint schemes with red trellis frames. The EVO SP is priced at $14,495.
