This information is in-line with a November EICMA debut that we've been hearing, but perhaps the most tantalizing news we've heard is the bike's sub-€10,000 price tag in the EU. The liquid-cooled IPM motor makes 250lbs•ft of torque, generates over 100hp, and employs a proprietary cooling system to allow a higher percentage of that peak power to be used over extended periods of time. This is particularly important because of the large gap between peak power figures and sustainable power figures in the electric motorcycle world, with the latter being the more important figure to quote.

MotoCzysz Electric D1g1tal Dr1ve: More Than Just a Glimpse into the 2010 E1pc Superbike

News

Popular

battery

controller

D1g1tal Superbike

d1g1tal Vehicle Management System

Digital Superbike

digital Vehicle Management System

E1pc

eDD

electric

electric digital drive

electric motorcycle

electric racing

energy storage system

ESS

Motoczysz

MotoCzysz E1pc

MotoCzysz eDD

MotoCzysz ESS

nugget

platform

suitcase

Today MotoCzysz is announcing its Electric D1g1tal Dr1ve (eDD), better known to us as "the suitcase", which is essentially the housing for the E1pc's proprietary controller, motor, and batteries. Neale's newest work, Charge, carries on with this same vein, and documents the world's first electric motorcycle race, the TTXGP, at the Isle of Man TT last year.
