Producing probably the most iconic modern motorcycle? That’s a pretty good start.

The F4 is is iconic? It looks like most every other sportbike, but unlike the Suzuki GSXR1000, the F4 has no racing pedigree. MV Agusta is living on past glory…..which makes it a perfect company to be a part of Harley.

Producing probably the most iconic modern motorcycle? That’s a pretty good start. I’ll be really curious to see what happens with the company when it’s divested from Harley-Davidson, and I think the success of the company will hinge greatly on who ends up purchasing it.

What exactly is the raison d’être for MV Agusta? They dominate international racing? They make the fastest production bike in the world? They have the most cutting edge technology that make their bikes more sophisticated and superior to any other bike made today?

0-3 in YES answers. MV Agusta really has nothing to justify their price tag or mystique.

This seems a good move both from the an enthusiast and business perspective. Hopefully there won’t be much more delay in the divestiture and Claudio Castiglioni and Federico Minoli can do their thing!
