Aside from the carbon fiber goodness, and of course the Rossi stickers (which add 5hp & $200), AGV's prototype helmet sports a noticably pronounced rear spoiler. Tucked in behind the windscreen, it is obvious why the Italian helmet manufacturer designed such a large protrusion off the back of the prototype helmet, as it looks to be clearly helping the flow off the back of the helmet, across the rider's hump, and down his backside.

The Dainese D-Air Racing Airbag Suit Comes to America

Popular

Products

AGV

air bag

airbag

airbag suit

d-air

Dainese

Dainese D-Air

data acquisition

launch

leather suit

leathers

United States

Getting a look at Dainese & AGV's 2012 collection, Asphalt & Rubber was down in Orange County earlier this week to see the highly anticipated Dainese D-Air Racing leather suit, which has a four liter airbag system that helps reduce the risk of injury during a motorcycle crash. A fairly simple piece of machined aluminum, the Radial Roadlok is a more well-thought out brake disc lock for your KTM. Attaching directly to the caliper mounting bolts, the KTM Radial Roadlok, like its predecessors, then uses a locking pin that goes through the holes on the brake disc. Using a permanent static position, KTM says the Radial Roadlok lines up with the holes on the disc, and doesn't allow the wheel to move at all.

Star Wars Stormtrooper Leathers – Yes! There's an element with the Moto-Grip "passenger safety harness" that strikes you with one of those "now why didn't I think of that" moments. The idea is a simple harness that a rider wears, which provides hand grips on the rider's chest and back that a passenger can hold onto as they are performing their various pillion duties.
